Fees and Rebates
Currently, the standard rate recommended by the Australian Psychological Society is $200 (for an hour appointment). Eve's fees are considerably lower than this. Please ring to find out what her current fees are.
Eve is a registered Specialist Provider under the Medicare Scheme for psychological therapy services for a mental disorder. This means that if you are referred by your GP under this Scheme, you will receive a substantial rebate of $117.65 per session, for up to 12 sessions in a calendar year. Please ask your doctor for more information about this scheme or go to http://www.psychology.org.au/medicare/
Also, Eve is registered with major private health funds. Many health funds will refund part of the fee for psychological services as long as you have a sufficient level of cover. There may be a limit on the amount claimed. Please contact your health fund to find out if you will be eligible for a refund. You may wish to consider this option if you are not referred under the Medicare Scheme. Please note you cannot claim under your health fund if you are receiving a rebate under the Medicare Scheme.
Fees are paid by cash or cheque at end of the appointment. Unfortunately, credit card and EFTPOS facilities are not available.
